Bjarte Bogsnes

Bio

Let's hear from Bjarte:

I have 30 years of Beyond Budgeting experience, having worked in Finance and HR. I have been heading up two Beyond Budgeting implementations at Borealis and then Statoil (now Equinor). I am Chairman of the Beyond Budgeting Roundtable, and I have also helped numerous companies globally get started on their own Beyond Budgeting journey.

I have 20 years of leadership experience, much of the time outside of my home country, Norway.

"Implementing Beyond Budgeting—Unlocking the Performance Potential—2nd edition" (Wiley US 2016) is the story of my Beyond Budgeting journey.

My new book, “This is Beyond Budgeting -A Guide to More Adaptive and Human Organizations,” with a foreword by Gary Hamel, was published in 2023.

I won a Harvard Business Review/McKinsey Management Innovation award.

Having left Equinor, I am now more available for consulting, workshops, and keynotes. Check out bogsnesadvisory.com, or contact me at bjarte@bogsnesadvisory.com
